CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION

UNDER SECTION 41(1)(a) 

The BERMUDA MONETARY AUTHORITY in exercise of the powers

conferred upon it by virtue of Section 41(1)(a) of the Insurance Act, 1978,

(“The Act”), hereby cancels, at the request of the Insurer listed below,

the respective Class 3 Insurer registration granted

 to the said Insurer under the Act, effective 8^th September 2020:-

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Funeral Repast for Earl Eugene (Townsey) Russell (Deceased) is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;

Mr. Marc G. Daniels, Chairman of the Liquor Licensing Authority, delegates his functions to Ms. Tanya R. Esdaille to act as Chairman for the period of 9^th September 2020 through to 10^th September 2020 inclusive.
