Public Advisory: New European Union Customs Requirements for Parcels Effective July 1, 2026

The Bermuda Post Office advises customers sending parcels to countries within the European Union (EU) that new EU customs requirements will take effect on July 1, 2026 . Under the European Union's Customs Reform measures, the existing low-value exemption for commercial goods will be removed. Public Advisory: Beware of Fraudulent WhatsApp Message Claiming to Be from the Bermuda Post Office

The Ministry for the Cabinet Office and Digital Innovation advises the public to be aware of fraudulent WhatsApp and/or text messages falsely claiming to be from the Bermuda Post Office. The message says a parcel has arrived in Bermuda and tells recipients to pay customs duties by clicking a link.
