Effective 14 April 2021 and pursuant to Section 25(1) of the Electricity Act 2016, the Regulatory Authority has issued a Bulk Generation Licence to Saturn Solar Bermuda 1 Ltd. A Large Scale Self Supply Licence authorises the licence holder to engage in the self-generation and consumption of electricity in Bermuda.

NOTICE OF DECLARATION OF LABOUR DISPUTE

Pursuant to section 4 of the Labour Disputes Act 1992, I declare that a labour dispute exists between the Department of Public Transportation and the Bermuda Industrial Union.

In accordance with section 11 as read with section 4, of the Labour Disputes Act 1992, I am referring the said dispute for settlement to the Labour Disputes Tribunal established under section 5 of that Act.

Licensing (Examination Deferral) Order 2021

An Order is hereby made by the Minister responsible for transport under the provisions of section 53B of the Motor Car Act 1951 and section 17B of the Auxiliary Bicycles Act 1954 to defer the examination and allow the licensing of a motor car or an auxiliary bicycle during the closure of the Transport Control Department from Tuesday, 13 April 2021 to Tuesday, 20 April 2021 due to the severe public health threat caused by the communicable disease COVID-19.
