Community Education is a community driven programme that engages community and public sector stakeholders across the continuum of education. It includes preschools, middle and senior schools, adults, seniors, Bermuda College and Workforce Development.
In addition to evening classes, day courses for adults and seniors are also offered as well as community awareness presentations, seminars and worships.
Although there are no summer classes, there is a Summer Internship Programme for students between 15 – 18 years of age. Evening childcare services might be available, depending on the need and if there is a minimum of five attendees per Centre.
Most classes begin the second or third week of the school term (i.e. fall, spring and winter terms). Classes at the western and eastern community schools will run when government schools are closed. Refer to the brochure for next Term Calendar.
You must complete 6 of the 8 week classes to receive a Certificate of Completion, or miss no more than two classes from the 4 – 6 week sessions.
