Personal Home Care Benefit

The Personal Home Care Benefit assists FutureCare and HIP policyholders who qualify with the costs of personal care services in their home and reimburses registered caregiving providers for their services.

Personal care services include assistance with bathing and showering, dressing, self-feeding, personal hygiene and grooming.

To receive the benefit, HIP and FutureCare policyholders must have held a policy for at least one year, and be in good standing in terms of premiums and apply to the Health Insurance Department (see the

for more information and all forms).

Caregiving providers must be registered with the Bermuda Health Council in order for claims to be paid by this benefit.
