NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Court of Appeal for Bermuda will next sit commencing on Monday, 1 st June 2020 at 9.00 a.m. and concluding Friday, 19 th November 2020 or when the
Court has so Ordered.

A Draft Cause List will be placed on the Notice Board in Sessions House, and the Notice Boards in the Registries and on the website at www.gov.bm/court-appeal. Additionally a copy is annexed herewith.

Emergency Powers (COVID-19 Continuing Precautions) Regulations 2020 Notice

WHEREAS the World Health Organization has declared COVID-19 to be a global pandemic;

AND WHEREAS COVID-19 is an unprecedented and severe threat to public health in Bermuda;

AND WHEREAS His Excellency the Governor has issued a Proclamation of Emergency under section 14 of the Bermuda Constitution Order 1968;

NOW THEREFORE His Excellency the Governor, in exercise of the power conferred by section 3 of the Emergency Powers Act 1963, makes the following Regulations:

EXTENSION OF DURATION (No 2) NOTICE

 

WHEREAS a proclamation was issued on 1 April 2020 under section 14(3) of the Constitution declaring that a state of emergency exists in Bermuda, which proclamation was extended in force until 18 April 2020 pursuant to a resolution of both Houses of the Legislature on 6 April 2020, in accordance with sections 14(5) and (6) of the Constitution,

Notice of Application Submission for a Licence Transfer and a Concentration Notification

Pursuant to Sections 30 and 21 of the Electricity Act 2016, the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda (“RA”) hereby gives notice that, an application has been made to the RA for the transfer of control of a Bulk Generation and Transmission, Distribution and Retail Licensee. A Bulk Generation Licence authorises the licence holder to engage in the bulk generation of electricity in Bermuda, while the Transmission, Distribution and Retail Licence authorises the licensee to engage in the transmission, distribution and retailing of electricity in Bermuda.

EMERGENCY POWERS (COVID-19 SHELTER IN PLACE) REGULATIONS 2020

EXTENSION OF DURATION NOTICE

WHEREAS a proclamation was issued on 1 April 2020 under section 14(3) of the Constitution declaring that a state of emergency exists in Bermuda, which proclamation would cease to be in force at the expiration of a period of fourteen days, unless its continuance in force is extended by resolution of both Houses of the Legislature, in accordance with sections 14(5) and (6) of the Constitution;
