Bermuda has 153 total confirmed positive cases. Their status is as follows:
Between yesterday and today, the Ministry of Health received 1165 COVID-19 test results; out of the 1165 results received 1 was positive for COVID-19. The confirmed case was imported on the Delta flight 656 from Atlanta on 17 July. We are in the process of contact tracing for this case.
Due to the aggressive testing regime established by the Government, all designed to quickly identify and isolate COVID-19 cases to protect our island home, we are unable to provide full details of today’s test results, as they are still being processed.
However, we must emphasize the importance of following public health guidelines, particularly recently arrived travellers who are under self-quarantine, to remain in your accommodation until you receive a negative test result.

Today there were 283 test results received by the Ministry of Health; and none were positive for COVID-19.
Bermuda has 149 total confirmed positive cases. As of today we have 3 actives case in Bermuda, of which none are hospitalized. All cases were imported.

I will start this evening by expressing the condolences of the Government of Bermuda to the family of Mr. Amon Brown who was killed this week during a domestic related incident. Our prayers and best wishes go out to Mr. Brown’s family, friends and colleagues.
