The Deputy Premier and Minister of Transport and Regulatory Affairs, the Hon. Walter Roban, JP, MP, accompanied the Premier, the Hon. David Burt, JP, MP to attend several high level meetings with a focus on energy, finance, economics and air service development.
The Premier and Deputy Premier met with Rep. Gregory Meeks, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Karen Bass, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, and Rep. Gwen Moore, ranking member of the Financial Services Subcommittee on Monetary Policy & Trade.
Minister Roban also met with Abby Hopper, CEO, Solar Energy Industry Association to discuss how governments have incorporated to use of solar energy and technology into their energy portfolio.
While in Washington DC, Minister Roban attend the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s (CBCF) Annual Prayer Breakfast.
