The Minister of Finance was asked to participate as the guest speaker at Koried 2019 Global Summitt held in Miami, Florida on 10th July, 2019. The Summit bought together government representatives, business leaders, experts and thought leaders from around the world to discuss leading edge approaches, ideas and strategies that benefit the Pension Fund community. The Minister spoke on "What the future looks like in innovation and access in Bermuda", sharing with the participants background information on Bermuda, its reputation as the risk capital of the world, its wealth of world-class intellectual capital, its quality service-providers, and its Pension Fund. The Minister further spoke on additional plans for economic development and how companies could gain access to business oportunities in Bermuda.
