TRIBE ROAD # 2 AND CEMETERY ROAD
ROAD CLOSURE
FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF BELCO’s NORTH POWER PLANT
MONDAY, DECEMBER 10th, 2018 EXTENDED to TUESDAY, MARCH 31st, 2020
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that there will be two road closures taking place simultaneously for the construction of the North Power Plant at BELCO.
The roads being closed are:
- Tribe Road # 2 - between St. John’s Road and Cemetery Road, and
- Cemetery Road - between Cemetery Lane and the bridge to Gorham’s Limited
These road closures will take place for just over one (1) year from Monday, December 10th, 2018 until Monday, January 13th, 2020. The roads will now reopen on Tuesday, March 31st, 2020.
Motorists and pedestrians will be advised to use alternative routes via John’s Road and Cemetery Lane during these times. There will be no access granted for the public during these road closures.
Traffic controls will be under direction of BELCO’s representatives.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
