Notice to all public authorities by The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
Pursuant to section 58(3) of the PATI Act, every public authority listed or defined in column 1 of the Schedule to the Public Access to Information (PATI) Act 2010 shall submit a written report to the Information Commissioner before the end of the calendar year. The ICO facilitates this requirement through the PATI Annual Return process which gathers information about public authorities’ handling of PATI requests and other statutory obligations under section 5 and section 6 of the PATI Act.
The 2025 PATI Annual Return forms, guidance and a list of public authorities is available at ico.bm/for-the-public-authorities/annual-return/.
Annual Returns are due to the ICO on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, with a grace period until Friday, 16 January 2026 — by email to: stats@ico.bm.
