(M1/Year 7) and Senior School (Year 9 and Year10/S1) will occur on:
Monday, 17 November – Friday, 28 November 2025
Procedures for Enrolment

Parents should review and complete an online registration form that will be made available on Monday, 17 November 2025.

The manager or principal of a private school or tutorial site, must on request from the Minister of Education, submit the official transcript of any student who has applied to be admitted to a school in the BPSS.

Students Registering into the BPSS
- Online registration forms will be available using the following link: https://bit.ly/Register-NEWStudent2026
- Online registration forms must be accompanied by a copy of a birth certificate and one of the following acceptable documents in the applying parent’s name to verify the child’s residential address (dated within the last 3 months):
- BELCO
- Lease
- Internet
- Bank statement
- Parents are asked to redact (i.e. black out) financial information, e.g. account balances.
- Evidence of a diagnosis of a disability/learning difference, e.g. i.e. ASD, dyslexia, etc. (if applicable).
Students Currently Enrolled in the BPSS
- The first contact of each eligible current student will receive a link to their child’s application on Monday, 17 November 2025.
- Online registration forms will be available at https://bit.ly/ReRegister-CURRENTStudent2026
- The first contact will use the snapcode provided in the email to access the partially pre-completed application.
- Online registration forms must be accompanied by a copy of a birth certificate and one of the following acceptable documents in the applying parent’s name to verify the child’s residential address (dated within the last 3 months):
- BELCO
- Lease
- Internet
- Bank statement
Registration Opens and Deadline
- Online registration forms for the 2026/2027 school year will be available on Monday, 17 November 2025.
- The deadline for the receipt of an online registration form is Friday, 28 November 2025. All registration forms submitted after this date will be deemed late.
- Late registration forms will be considered after all on-time registration forms have been processed.
Appeals
- Parents who wish to appeal the denial of an admission to an aided or maintained school will be able to submit an appeal.
- The link to the appeals form will be provided in the denial letter, along with the deadline to submit the appeal.
Conditions for Enrolment
Bright Start Programme (BSP)
- Children must celebrate their third birthday between 1 January and 31 August 2026 inclusive.
- Children must be resident in the catchment area for the preschool approved for an early enrolment programme (see section on Preschools below).
- Children must be fully toilet trained.
- There must be sufficient space to accommodate the child as per the permissible maximum enrolment.
- Preference shall be given to an older 3-year old (born in the early months of the calendar year over children born in the later months of a calendar year).

- Children must celebrate their fourth birthday between 1 January and 31 December 2026 inclusive.
- Children must be resident in the same parish as the preschool to which the application is made.
- There must be sufficient space to accommodate the child as per the permissible maximum enrolment.
- Children who have limited nursery experience may be admitted first.

Primary School
- Children must celebrate their fifth birthday between 1 January and 31 December 2026 inclusive.
- Children must be resident in the same zone as the primary school to which the application is made.
- Preference for admission into a particular school is given to children residing closest to the school; therefore, proof of address is required (a copy of utility bill or lease is acceptable).
- Priority in enrollment may be given to the application of a child who at the time of registration has a sibling enrolled in (and who will attend) P1 to P5 or P1 to Yr 7 (for parish primary school) of the first choice school during the upcoming school year.
- Where a school is located close to the end of a zone boundary, priority may be given to children who live between the school and the zone boundary over children who may live closer, but toward the middle of the zone.
- There must be sufficient space to accommodate the child as per the permissible maximum enrollment.

Middle School
- If a student is already registered in the BPSS and is enrolled in a non-parish primary school, enrolment into a particular middle school is determined by the non-parish primary school attended at the time of registration; therefore, a student must be enrolled in the middle school designated by the non-parish primary school attended unless s/he has moved prior to registration.
- If a student is already registered in the BPSS and is enrolled in a parish primary school, enrolment may be to Year 7 of the same parish primary school or to the former middle school designated, unless s/he has moved prior to registration.
- If a student has moved prior to registration, s/he may be enrolled in the middle school or parish primary school closest to his or her residence.
- There must be sufficient space to accommodate the child as per the permissible maximum enrolment.
- Students registering into the BPSS must be enrolled in the middle school closest to their residence.

Senior School
- Parents may make an application for their child to be enrolled in a specific Signature Learning Programme (SLP) that is offered at a senior school. Parents may apply for their child to be enrolled in a specific SLP if they are entering Year 9 OR a Signature Strand if they are entering Year 10.
- There must be sufficient space to accommodate the student in the first choice SLP/Strand. If the first choice SLP/Strand is oversubscribed, the successful applicants will be randomly selected. Unsuccessful first choice applicants will be considered for the second choice SLP or Strand.
- When the first choice SLP/Strand is oversubscribed, the second choice SLP/Strand is considered pending availability, if the second choice SLP/Strand is oversubscribed the successful applicants will be randomly selected. Unsuccessful second choice applicants will be considered for the third choice SLP/Strand.
- When the first and second choice SLP/Strand is oversubscribed, the third choice SLP/Strand is considered.
- Where the number of registration applications for a particular SLP/Strand exceeds the permissible enrolment, the successful applicants may be randomly selected.
- If, after engaging in the Taster Programme to understand passions, talents and interests in order to be able to make a selection, you do not believe there is a suitable SLP for your child, please check the “no suitable Signature Learning Programme” box on the form. Students who do not select a SLP/Strand will be randomly allocated a place at either of the Senior Schools to complete a traditional schooling strand after all other placements have been made.
