LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:

BASCOME FOOTBALL COMPANY

FOUNDATION PROGRAM

 

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bascome Football Company – Foundation Program is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;

 

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 (4) of those Regulations to the Bascome Football Company permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble every Saturday, between 9:00 am and 11:30 am, at the Saltus Grammar School Field, 108 St. John’s Field, Pembroke Parish during the following period with the below conditions:

 

  • Between October 31st and December 12th, 2020
  • Between January 9th and March 27th. 2021

 

Conditions:

 

  1. All persons attending the Bermuda Championship Golf Tournament  must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –

 

  1. six feet; or

 

  1. three feet, provided each person is wearing a mask which completely covers their nose and mouth,

 

and follow any relevant guidance.

 

  1. Maximum number of persons permitted to attend – 160 

 

 

  1. Bascome Football Company to record names and contact details of persons in attendance for purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for a period of 28 days post-date of each training session.

 

  1. Adherence to all relevant COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.

 

  1. The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice to the organizer or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.

 

  1. The Bermuda Police Service and/or the Ministry of National Security Officials have right to attend and observe for compliance to the conditions as set by the Minister.
