LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:

BERMUDA SKYPORT CORPORATION LIMITED

AIRPORT PASSENGER TRIALS

 

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Skyport Corporation Limited – Airport Passenger Trials  is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;

 

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble at the L. F. Wade International Airport (new facility) for the Airport Passenger Trials between September 15 and October 31, 2020 with the following conditions:

 

Conditions:

 

  1. All persons attending the Airport Passenger Trials must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.  

 

  1. Maximum number of persons permitted to attend on training days – 130

 

  1. Recording contact details of persons attending L.F. Wade for Airport Passenger Trials for purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for a period of 28 days post-date of training days.

 

  1. Wearing of masks required when not seated or moving about the venue.

 

  1. Adherence to all relevant COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.

 

  1. The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice to the organizer or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.

 

  1. The Bermuda Police Service and/or the Ministry of National Security Officials have right to attend and observe for compliance to the conditions as set by the Minister.
