LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
BERMUDA SKYPORT CORPORATION LIMITED
AIRPORT PASSENGER TRIALS
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Skyport Corporation Limited – Airport Passenger Trials is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble at the L. F. Wade International Airport (new facility) for the Airport Passenger Trials between September 15 and October 31, 2020 with the following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons attending the Airport Passenger Trials must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Maximum number of persons permitted to attend on training days – 130
- Recording contact details of persons attending L.F. Wade for Airport Passenger Trials for purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for a period of 28 days post-date of training days.
- Wearing of masks required when not seated or moving about the venue.
- Adherence to all relevant COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
- The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice to the organizer or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.
- The Bermuda Police Service and/or the Ministry of National Security Officials have right to attend and observe for compliance to the conditions as set by the Minister.
