LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
FUNERAL REPAST –
Albert Donawa
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Funeral Repast for Albert Donawa (Deceased) is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Sunday October 4, 2020 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Willowbank Resort, 126 Somerset Road, Sandy’s with the following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons attending the wake must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Number of persons permitted to attend event– 120 persons
- Persons must wear mask when not seated or moving around the venue.
- Duration of the repast limited to 4 hours: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
- The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe compliance of the conditions as prescribed above.
