LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
BERMUDA MOTOCROSS CLUB
RACE SEASON
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Motocross Club Race Season is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble on race days as per the Motocross Club Race Day Schedule between October 2020 and May 2021 at the Bermuda Motocross Club Race Track, Southside, St, David’s, St. George’s Parish with the following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons at the event must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Maximum number of spectators permitted to attend – 140 on race days as per the Bermuda Motocross Club Race Day Schedule
- Bermuda Motocross Club to record names and contact details of spectators for purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for a period of 28 days post-date of each race day.
- Wearing of masks required when not seated or moving about the venue.
- Adherence to all relevant COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
- The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice to the organizer or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.
- The Bermuda Police Service and/or the Ministry of National Security Officials have right to attend and observe for compliance to the conditions as set by the Minister.
