LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
WEDDING RECEPION
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Wedding Reception (Shanalette Desilva and Anthony Burchall) is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Saturday October 10 , 2020 at The Belle Vista Bar and Grill, 5 Port Royal Drive, Southampton Parish with following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons attending wedding reception must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Maximum number of spectators permitted to attend – 100
- Duration of exemption period: 5:00 pm until 11:30 pm.
- Organizer to record names and contact details of event attendees for purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for a period of 28 days post-date of the event.
- Wearing of masks required when not seated or moving about the venue.
- Adherence to all relevant COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
- The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice to the organizer or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.
- The Bermuda Police Service and/or the Ministry of National Security Officials have right to attend and observe for compliance to the conditions as set by the Minister.
