REGULATIONS 2020
LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
ANTI-VIOLENCE EXPO
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Anti-Violence Expo is an event justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Saturday September 12, 2020 between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm at St. David’s Cricket Club, 41 Battery Road, St. David’s, St. George’s Parish with the following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons attending the event must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Maximum number of persons permitted to attend – 325.
- Minimum number of security to be on duty as per the Ministry of Health Mass Gatherings Guidelines (1 security officer per 75 persons).
- Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the event for purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained by organizer for 28 days after date of event.
- Wearing of masks required when moving about the venue.
- Availability of hand sanitizers and/or hand washing stations.
- The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.
- The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe compliance of the conditions as prescribed above.
