LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
FUNERAL REPAST –
EARL EUGENE (TOWNSEY) RUSSELL
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Funeral Repast for Earl Eugene (Townsey) Russell (Deceased) is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Thursday September 10, 2020 between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm at the PHC Field, Middle Road, Warwick Parish with the following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons attending the repast must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Number of persons permitted to attend event– 120 persons
- Persons must wear mask when not seated or moving around the venue.
- No more than 10 persons permitted to be seated at a table.
- Names of persons attending the repast to be recorded for the purpose of Contact Tracing. Names to be kept for a minimum of 28 days after the date of repast.
- Security to monitor and enforce COVID 19 Regulations.
- The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe compliance of the conditions as prescribed above.
