REGULATIONS 2020 

LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:

WEDDING RECEPTION  

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Wedding Reception of Kristy Burgess and Vaughan Joseph an event justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy- five persons assembling; 

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Thursday September 17, 2020 between 3:00 pm and 8: 00 pm at ‘Sandymount’ 229 North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish.  

Conditions:

  1. All persons attending the wedding and reception must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.  
  2. Event organizers to ensure physical distancing is enforced. 
  3. Masks must be worn when moving about the venue.  
  4. Maximum number of persons 125. 
  5. Duration of event 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm 
  6. Hand sanitizers and/or hand washing stations to be made available. 
  7. The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe adherence to the conditions as prescribed above. .
