ROAD CLOSURE
FOR
BELCO TRENCH WORK
STARTING FRIDAY, AUGUST 19th, 2022 THROUGH TO FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th, 2022
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that the ongoing BELCO trenching project on North Shore Road will be requiring a road closure to allow for the trench to abut under the road centerline. The road closure will need to be enforced on North shore Road between the Loyal Hill playground entrance and Loyal Hill Road in Devonshire parish.
Road closure is to commence from Friday, August 19th, 2022 until Friday, September 9th, 2022.
Working hours will be from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, daily Monday through Sunday.
Motorists emerging from the west will be detoured at the roundabout to head south up Barker’s Hill to Middle Road. Motorists emerging from the east will be detoured via Store Hill to Middle Road. Residents will be granted access from each side of the construction site but no through traffic on North Shore Road will be granted.
Traffic controls will be under the direction of BELCO representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals, signs and barricades.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
