LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
BERMUDA INDUSTRIAL UNION
MEMBERSHIP MEETING
(Hotel Division)
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Industrial Union Membership Meeting is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Thursday August 20, 2020 at 9:00 am, at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel, 101 South Shore Road, Southampton Parish with the following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons attending the event must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Number of persons permitted to attend meeting – 350.
- The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe adherence to the conditions as prescribed above
