LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
BERMUDA INDUSTRIAL UNION MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Industrial Union Membership Meetings are gatherings justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than fifty persons to assemble on Thursday August 13, 2020 at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm at the Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club, 76 Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke Parish
Conditions:
- All persons attending the meetings must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Maximum of 150 persons per meeting.
- Meeting times: 9:00 am and 1:00 pm
- Meeting room to be cleaned and sanitized between meetings.
- Organizers to record details of persons in attendance at the meetings for purpose of contact tracing.
- The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe adherence to the conditions as prescribed above.
