REGULATIONS 2020
LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS PICNIC
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Alcoholics Anonymous Picnic is an event justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than fifty persons to assemble on Saturday July 25, 2020 between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Shelly Bay Park, North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish, with the following conditions:
Conditions as follows:
- All persons attending the walk must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
 
- Maximum of 65 persons. 
 - Marshals (3) to ensure physical distancing and with hand sanitizers.  
 - Organizers must record contact details of persons attending the picnic for purpose of contact tracing.  
 - Event duration limited to 3 hours (4:00 pm to 7:00 pm) 
 - No selling or consumption of alcohol at event. 
 - The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe adherence to the conditions as prescribed above.
