The Pollution Control Section of the Department of Environment & Natural Resources is in the process of transitioning to an online application and renewal processes for the following:
- Operating Licences for 'controlled plants' that pollute, including electrical generators, aerated sewage treatment plants, spray paint facilities, rock crushers, sand sifters, stone cutters, incinerators, etc.
- Water Rights for wells to abstract groundwater and boreholes to dispose of treated water.
- Registration of Above-ground and Under-ground fuel Storage Tanks (AST/UST).
To ensure a smooth transition, existing owners of controlled plants, wells/boreholes and registered fuel storage tanks are requested to submit their information to the new system.
This crucial step will allow the DENR to accurately link your data to the appropriate licenses.
To facilitate this process, please select the relevant link below to be directed to the appropriate online information submission page.
Customers will receive periodic updates throughout the transition to the new online application renewal system.
