ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1947
EXTENSION II
STOKES POINT ROAD AND MULLET BAY ROAD
to ECHO LANE, ST. GEORGE’S
LANE CLOSURES
FOR
BELCO TRENCH WORKS
ONGOING THROUGH TO SATURDAY JULY 24TH, 2021
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the Stokes Point Road and Mullet Bay Road to Echo Lane junction in St. George’s trench work remains ongoing and will continue to require a one-lane closure.
All residents will continue to be granted access to Stokes Point Road whilst the paving works has switched over to Mullet Bay Road. This should assist in expediting the completion of Mullet Bay Road to meet our CupMatch Holiday weekend deadline. Once Mullet Bay paving has been completed, the paving works on Stokes Point Road will be finalized.
The lane closure will continue through to Saturday July 24th, 2021. Working hours will be from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, weekly from Monday through Saturday.
Motorists are asked to use caution when passing the open trench to keep themselves and construction workers safe.
Traffic controls will be under the direction of D&J Construction Co. Ltd. representatives and will be managed through traffic control signs & signals.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
Should there be any questions regarding these trench works, please direct queries to the attention of Jonathan Pedro, Project Manager for BELCO at 295-5111 ext. 1441. Any queries on paving should be directed to Tina Beer-Searle, Civil Engineer Highways for Ministry of Public Works on 501-3044.
