ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1947
BBA WINNERS EDGE BICYLE RACE
SUNDAY, 5th JUNE 2022
ROUTE:
Commencing at Kindley Field Road and travel in easterly direction to Swing Bridge roundabout, then turn at the roundabout and then head in westerly direction along Kindley Field Road to the Airport roundabout and The Causeway, then travel in westerly direction along the The Causeway, then travel in westerly direction along North Shore Road and to Flatts Village then travel in westerly direction along North Shore Road to the Barker’s Hill roundabout, then turn at the roundabout and head in easterly direction along North Shore Road to Flatts Village, then travel in easterly direction along North Shore Road to The Causeway, then travel in easterly direction along The Causeway to the Airport roundabout where the race will end at Kindley Field Road.

TRAFFIC CONTROL: |
The bicycle race will commence on Sunday 5th June, 2022 at 8:00 am and is expected to be concluded by 11:00 am. All motorists are expected to use caution and avoid collusion with race participants. The race route will be under the direction of Bermuda Police Service and Race Officials. Motorists are asked to follow direction of the Police and Race Officials instructions to assist with traffic controls. |

ROADS CLOSED: |
There will be no road closures to traffic while the bicycle race takes place, but motorists are asked to use caution and allow cyclists to participate and give way when directed given by the Police and Race Officials. |

PARKING:
|
There will be no parking restriction for this bicycle race, but motorists are permitted to park in designated parking areas along any part of the race route. Additionally, motorists must not block the race route or impede the participants in the bicycle race. |
In addition, the Bermuda Police Service are hereby authorized to “Close-Off” the roadway or portions of the roadway and authorize parking as the Commissioner of Police decides.
