STORE HILL, SMITH’S
ROAD CLOSURE
FOR
BELCO TRENCH WORK
WEDNESDAY JULY 7th, 2021 THROUGH FRIDAY AUGUST 27th, 2021
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that BELCO will be trenching along Store Hill from North Shore Road to Middle Road.
These works will require a full road closure to allow for BELCO’s trench work to be aligned close to the centerline of Store Hill.
The works will commence Wednesday, July 7th through to Friday, August 27th, 2021. Working hours will be from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm daily.
Access will be provided to residents and emergency services only. Traffic controls will be under direction of BELCO representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals & signage.
The motoring public is advised to seek alternative routes via Loyal Hill Pass to the west and Jennings Road to the east to transfer from North South Road to Middle Road.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
