(PHASED RE-OPENING) REGULATIONS 2021

 

LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:

Sullivan and Kenyon

Wedding and Reception

 

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Sullivan and Kenyon Wedding Ceremony and Reception is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) (Phased Re-opening) Regulations 2021 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;

 

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (5) of those Regulations to Emily Boden – Bermuda Event Solutions Limited, permitting a group of more than fifty persons to assemble June 19, 2021 at the times and location as below, with the following conditions:

 

  1. Persons attending the Sullivan and Kenyon wedding ceremony and reception must be able to demonstrate that they are fully immunized or have tested negative for the coronavirus at least 3 days before June 19, 2021. Use of the SafeKey QR code that is issued by the Ministry of Health will denote that persons have been fully immunized or have tested negative for the coronavirus in the past 72 hours.

 

  1. Maximum number of persons permitted to attend: 100

 

  1. Security to be present to ensure compliance with the conditions of the exemptions.

 

  1. Times and locations:

 

  • 4:30 pm – Unfinished Church, St. George’s Parish (Wedding Ceremony)
  • 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm – Coral Beach Club, Paget Parish (Reception)

 

  1. Contact information of persons in attendance at the event to be recorded for contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post date of the event.

 

  1. The Minister of National Security may at any time modify or revoke a group exemption granted according to section 5 (8) (b) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) (Phased Re-opening) Regulations 2021.

 

  1. The Bermuda Police Service or a Ministry of National Security Officer may attend the event and observe for compliance with these conditions
