PUBLIC HEALTH (COVID-19 EMERGENCY POWERS)
(PHASED RE-OPENING) REGULATIONS 2021
LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
Northlands Primary School
School Graduation
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Northlands Primary School Ceremony is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) (Phased Re-opening) Regulations 2021 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (5) of those Regulations to Linda Holdipp permitting a group of more than fifty persons to assemble June 17, 2021 between 9:30 am and 11:30 am at the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 43 King Street, City of Hamilton, Pembroke Parish with the following conditions:
- Persons attending the Northlands Primary School Graduation must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –
- six feet; or
- three feet provided each person is wearing a mask which completely covers their nose and mouth
- Maximum number of persons permitted to attend: 150
- Security personnel to be on duty to ensure to compliance with these conditions.
- Name and contact details of persons attending the event to be recorded for purpose of contact tracing. Information is to be retained for 28 days post-date of the event.
- Adherence to all Public Health Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.
- The Minister of National Security may at any time modify or revoke a group exemption granted according to section 5 (8) (b) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) (Phased Re-opening) Regulations 2021.
- The Bermuda Police Service or a Ministry of National Security Officer may attend the event and observe for compliance with these conditions
