MUNICIPALITIES (ELECTION) ORDER 2015

 

 

 ORDINARY MUNICIPAL ELECTION

FOR THE CORPORATION OF HAMILTON

ADVANCED POLL ABSENT VOTERS

To be held on

4th May 2023

 

In pursuance of the provisions of section 40 (2) of the Parliamentary Election Act 1978, as modified by the Municipalities (Election) Order 2015, an advanced poll will be held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church Hall King Street, Hamilton on the 4th of May 2023 between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm for electors who are eligible to vote at the above extraordinary municipal election and who are intending to be absent from Bermuda, or to travel to or from Bermuda, on polling day.

 

Each voter applying to vote in an advanced poll, must satisfy the Registrar that he is on the Parliamentary Register and that he intends to be absent from Bermuda, or to travel to or from Bermuda on polling day.

 

Advanced poll certificates are available at the polling station. Travellers must present a hard copy of their confirmed travel arrangements and a photo ID. Electronic copies of travel details will not be accepted.
