By His Excellency the Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Bermuda.
WHEREAS the World Health Organization has declared COVID-19 to be a global pandemic;
AND WHEREAS COVID-19 is an unprecedented and severe threat to public health in Bermuda: NOW THEREFORE in accordance with section 14(3) of the Constitution I, the Governor, acting after consultation with the Premier, declare that a state of emergency exists in Bermuda;
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of Bermuda this 1st day of April, two thousand and twenty, in the sixty-ninth year of Her Majesty's Reign.
