MIDDLE ROAD, SOUTHAMPTON

CAMP HILL TO LIGHTHOUSE ROAD

LANE CLOSURE

FOR

BELCO TRENCH WORK

ONGOING THROUGH FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30, 2022

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that the Middle Road BELCO trench works will continue from the Camp Hill Road junction towards Lighthouse Road.  The single lane closure will be on the westbound lane only.  Working hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily.

Traffic controls will be under direction of Intelligent Trenching representatives and will be managed via traffic control signals and signage.

As the trench passes through the busy Heron Bay area, the motoring public is advised to drive carefully and to be mindful of the Heron Bay Marketplace traffic.  Marketplace visitors should patiently follow the traffic light flow of direction when entering and existing the premises.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

Should there be any questions regarding the BELCO trench works, contact Jonathan Pedro, Project Manager for BELCO on 295-5111 ext. 1441.  Any queries on detours, contact Tina Beer-Searle, Acting Principal Highways Engineer for the Ministry of Public Works on 501-3044.
