LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:
West End Primary School
Rolling Rally
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed West End Primary School Rolling Rally is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in Regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2021 on groups of more than twenty-five persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under Regulation 5 (4) of those Regulations to Ms. Ellen-Kate Horton permitting a group of more than twenty-five persons to assemble Saturday March 20, 2021 between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm at West End Primary School Field, 43 Scotts Hill Road, Sandys Parish with the following conditions:
Conditions:
1. All persons attending the West End Primary School must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –
- six feet; or
- three feet, provided each person is wearing a mask which completely covers their nose and mouth,and follow any relevant guidance.
2. Maximum number of attendees –40 cars
3. Duration of event: 3 hours (Between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm)
4. Persons attending the event must remain within their cars, except for persons who will be speaking at the rally.
5. Minimum of four marshals to assist with ensuring persons remain seated within their vehicle.
6. Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the event for the purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of the event.
7. Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
8. Pursuant to Regulation 5 (8) of the Public Health Regulations, the Minister of National Security may at any time, modify or revoke a large group exemption granted or deemed to be granted.
9. The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe for compliance of the conditions as prescribed above.
