LANE CLOSURE
FOR
BELCO TRENCH WORK
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2022 THROUGH TUESDAY, MAY 31, 2022
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that BELCO will be starting their trenching work on Frog Lane near the National Stadium, heading north to Palmetto Road then east towards the Barker's Hill roundabout.
The lane closure will commence on Monday, February 14, 2022 for approximately three (3) months through until Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Working hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weekly Monday through Sunday.
Motorists are asked to avoid this lane closure section on Frog Lane and Palmetto Road and to use alternative routes via Robert's Avenue, Parson's Road or Middle Road for the duration of this trench work.
Traffic controls will be under the direction of BELCO representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals and directional signs during rush hours.
Motorists are advised to drive cautiously through the construction sites and avoid speeding to protect themselves and construction workers on site.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
