ROAD CLOSURE REMAINS IN EFFECT
FOR BELCO WORKS & MPW PAVING
ONGOING UNTIL FRIDAY, MARCH 11, 2022
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the ongoing BELCO trenching project on Harrington Sound Road should be completed by the end of February. Thereafter the Ministry of Public Works will be able to commence with repaving the length of road from Manor House driveway eastward to Lolly's Well Road.
The road closure on Harrington Sound Road from Town Hill Road to Lolly's Well Road will continue until Friday, March 11, 2022 or sooner.
Traffic control is managed through BELCO and Ministry of Public Works' representatives through water and concrete barricades and signage.
The Ministry of Public Works advises that all foot traffic and bike riders should avoid this area for their safety and encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
