ROAD CLOSURE FOR BLDC TRENCH WORKS
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 4TH, 2022 THROUGH MONDAY FEBRUARY 28TH, 2022
The Town of St. George’s wishes to inform motorists that BLDC’s ongoing trench will continue up Sapper Lane from Victoria Road open hole to Government Hill Road at unfinished Church.
The road closure will commence Friday February 4th 2022 to Monday February 28th, 2022. Working hours will be from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, weekly from Monday through Saturday. Trench work should reach 200 feet open section lengths at a time.
Motorists are advised to use Government Hill Road, Slippery Hill or Grenadier Lane as a detour to avoid the road closure.
Traffic controls will be under the direction of Island Construction representatives and will be managed through traffic control signs & barricades.
The Town of St. George’s wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
