MINISTERIAL DIRECTIONS UNDER SECTION 5(6)(a) and 5(7) OF THE REGULATORY AUTHORITY ACT 2011
Extension to Commence Regulatory Review of the Electronic Communications Sector
Having reviewed the request from the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda (the RA) dated 3 November 2021 and pursuant to section 5(6)(a) of Regulatory Authority Act 2011 (RAA), I HEREBY give my consent, due to the RA’s matters and obligations that will be ongoing through the first semester of calendar year 2022, to extend the period within which the RA must commence the regulatory review of the electronic communications sector under section 17 of the RAA. The said review must commence on 1 August 2022.
