JUDICIAL APPOINTMENT

(AMENDED)

Mr. Tom Oppenheim MBE, Acting Governor of Bermuda, after consultation with the Acting Chief Justice, has approved the appointment of Ms. Charles-Etta Simmons, former Puisne Judge, to act as Assistant Justice in accordance with section 73(6) of the Bermuda Constitution for the period 15th January 2024: 

 

  • 2021 No. 10 cri. The King v Jahmari Beach, until the matter is complete

  • Assisting with other matters assigned by the Acting Chief Justice or Supervising Judge from time to time
