JUDICIAL APPOINTMENT

 

 

Judicial Department

 

 

Her Excellency, Ms. Rena Lalgie, Governor of Bermuda, after consultation with the Acting Chief Justice, has approved the appointment of Ms. Charles-Etta Simmons, former Puisne Judge,

 to act as Assistant Justice in accordance with section 73(6) of the Bermuda Constitution for the following matters: 

 

  • 2022 No. 21 cri. The King v Eze Hart for the period 15 January 2024, until the matter is complete

 

  • 2021 No. 10 cri. The King v Jahmari Beach for the period 29 January 2024, until the matter is complete
