These records are kept by you, at your registered office in Bermuda, not by us. Three of them are also held by us and can be searched online: the directors of a company, the managers of an LLC, and the general partners of a partnership.

We are not the source for every partner
The general partners are filed with us in your certificate and are searchable online. The other partners are not filed, so the partnership is the only source for them.
Who may inspect them
The register of members and the register of directors and officers are open to inspection at the registered office. Your beneficial ownership register is not: it is provided to us, and to a competent authority or an obliged entity through the access routes the Beneficial Ownership Act 2025 provides.

Who can access beneficial ownership information →
Keeping records after dissolution
Records outlive the entity, so that information remains available to competent authorities after it is gone.
- where a company is struck off, every person who was a director or officer at that date must ensure the records of account are kept for five years from the end of the period to which they relate, and the beneficial ownership register for at least five years from the date of strike off
- where an entity is wound up, the liquidator keeps the beneficial ownership register for at least five years from dissolution
- for a dissolved exempted partnership, section 14A of the Exempted Partnerships Act 1992 makes equivalent provision for records of account and the beneficial ownership register
Failing to keep them carries a default fine.
