Changing Directors, Officers or Managers
Telling us who runs your entity
Search help and information
Tell us when the people who run your entity change. Two registers are involved: the one you keep, and the one we hold.
Companies
Update your own register of directors and officers under section 92A, and file the change to the register of directors we hold under section 92B.
Officers are not filed with us
We hold the directors of a company, but not the officers. Anyone who needs to know the officers of a company must ask the company, or inspect the register at its registered office.
LLCs
Update your register of managers under section 59 of the Limited Liability Company Act 2016, and report the change to us. Managers are held by us and can be searched online.
What becomes public
The directors of a company and the managers of an LLC are returned by a search of the register. A change of director or manager is not, by itself, a change of beneficial owner, but it may be. If the person exercises ultimate effective control over the management, they are a beneficial owner and your beneficial ownership register must show it.
