The Government of Bermuda is seeking design, build, installation, commissioning and staff training for maintenance and use proposals for a turn key project for an Electric Bus Charging Facility at the Department of Public Transportation's Fort Langton, Devonshire, Bermuda Facility to support the operations of new electric buses.
In particular, the Department of Transportation (DPT) requires the installation of 15 (fifteen) compatible bus manufacturer supplied charging pedestals with civil, mechanical and electrical infrastructure to support the charging pedestals for the first phase of 30 (thirty) electrical buses. Design consideration must be given to accommodate a second phase of a further 15 charging pedestals to accommodate an additional 30 future electrical buses for a total fleet compliment of 60 (sixty) electrical buses. The second phase will allow and for the integration as well as the inclusion of a battery storage solution to take advantage of a future integrated solar PV array on the roof of the main bus garage building.

Site Visit/Pre-Bid Meeting Details
The Government will conduct a pre-bid conference call on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 10:00am to answer any questions potential bidders may have. Proponents are required to register their attendance no later than 5pm, Monday, June 28, 2021 by email with the subject line "Electric Charging Station Facility RFP Registration" to cbulley@gov.bm.
The call-in number will be advised on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 to all registered proponents by reply email.
The pre-bid conference call will include an important briefing on the mandatory submission requirements for this RFP.
