The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that there will an extension to the two road closures presently in place for the construction of the North Power Plant at BELCO.

Lane Closures for Utilities Underground Work
Thursday June 18th, 2020 Through Friday June 19th, 2020

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that near house # 7 South Road, Hamilton Parish, Invisible Trenching will undergo trench work to place utility lines underground. This trench work will require one-lane traffic closures on the eastern bound lane only.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that there will a lane closure taking place for the removal and replacement of the AIG hedge along Richmond Road eastbound lane.

Lane Closures  For Utilities Underground Work
Tuesday June 16th, 2020 Through Friday June 19th, 2020

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that near house # 25 South Road, Devonshire, D&J Excavating & Landscaping Services Ltd. will undergo trench work to place utility lines underground. This trench work will require temporary one-lane traffic closures across both lanes.

Lane Closure for Belco Trench Work
Monday, May 25th, 2020 Through Friday, August 28th, 2020

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that Harrington Sound Road, Hamilton Parish will undergo trench work that will require a one-lane closure. This trench work will commence west of Paynter’s Road and head west towards Devil’s Hole. The trench work will only affect the eastbound lane with 200’ section lengths at a time.

for Ministry Of Public Works Embankment Repairs
Monday May 25th, 2020 Through Friday, June 26th, 2020

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that North Shore Road near Shelly Bay Beach in Hamilton Parish will undergo embankment repairs that will require a portion of the railway trail and at times a one-lane closure on North Shore Road eastbound lane. This embankment repair will commence west of Shelly Bay Beach along the railway trail pedestrian foot path.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that near house # 76 South Road in Southampton, Invisible Trenching will undertake trench work to place utility lines underground. This trench work will require one-lane traffic closures as they cross the road from the north side to the south to enter #76 South Road property.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that there will be a one-lane road closure on the airport roundabout in St. George’s for Aecon to undertake paving works to tie the new airport entrance into the roundabout.
