CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION

UNDER SECTION 42(1)(a)

The BERMUDA MONETARY AUTHORITY in exercise of the powers

conferred upon it by virtue of Section 42(1)(a) of the Insurance Act, 1978,

(“The Act”), hereby cancels, at the request of the Company listed below,

the respective Insurance Broker registration granted

 to the said Company under the Act, effective 28^th January 2020: -

ATLANTIC SECURITY LIMITED

Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Minister of National Security, by the following person(s) for the grant of a Permanent Resident's Certificate, under the provisions of section 31A of the Bermuda Immigration and Protection Act, 1956, (viz: has been exempted from Part V of this Act, under section 5 of the Economic Development Act 1968 for at least ten years; were ordinarily resident in Bermuda for a period of at least ten years; and were ordinarily resident in Bermuda during the two years immediately preceding application).

The Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, in compliance with the requirement of section 35BD(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1947, gives the following Notice:

REGISTRAR OF COMPANIES

            WHEREAS, Gold Star Transport Ltd. was included on a list of companies and struck off the Register of Companies effective August 19, 2019 pursuant to section 261 of the Companies Act 1981.

APPOINTMENT OF MARRIAGE OFFICER

Pursuant to the provisions of The Marriage Act 1944, the Minister of Home Affairs, on the 12^th February 2020 licensed Rev. Jennifer Goddard-Sheppard as a Marriage Officer, thereby enabling her to perform a marriage ceremony in Bermuda on May 16 2020 only.

Pursuant to the provisions of The Marriage Act 1944, the Minister of Home Affairs, on the 12^th February 2020, licensed President David Reynolds Moss as a Marriage Officer, thereby enabling him to perform marriage ceremonies in Bermuda.
