ASSISTANT JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT OF BERMUDA

APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT JUSTICES

 

 

 

 

            In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Section 73(6) of the Constitution, His Excellency the Governor has, after consultation with the Chief Justice, appointed Dr Ian Rowe Chukudinka Kawaley to be an Assistant Justice of the Supreme Court of Bermuda for the period 1 January 2020 through 31 December 2020, to sit on such day or days during the aforesaid period as may be agreed from time to time.

 

ACTING GOVERNOR AND COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF

CONSTITUTION OF BERMUDA

 

In accordance with section 19 (1) of the Constitution, His Excellency The Governor Mr. John Rankin CMG is pleased to appoint The Hon. Chief Justice Narinder Hargun to act as Acting Governor and Commander-in-Chief from Thursday 30 January through Sunday 2 February 2020 or until the Governor’s return.

TAKE NOTICE of a Special Session of The Betting Licensing Authority for the year 2020/2021 will be held at the Magistrate’s Court No. 1 at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday the 19th day of February, 2020 to hear the application of Axum Limited for the grant of a Bookmaker’s Licence in respect of Paradise Games located at 53 Court Street, Unit 5, Hamilton HM 12.
