In exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 77 of the Constitution of Bermuda, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the Rt Hon Sir Christopher Clarke as President of the Court of Appeal with effect from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2021.

APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT JUSTICE

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Section 73(6) of the Constitution, His Excellency the Governor has, after consultation with the Chief Justice, appointed Dr Ian Rowe Chukudinka Kawaley to be an Assistant Justice of the Supreme Court of Bermuda for the period 1 November 2018 through 31 December 2019, to sit on such day or days during the aforesaid period as may be agreed from time to time.
