The Bermuda Volleyball Association’s National Men’s and Women’s Indoor Volleyball Teams have returned home following their successful participation in the 2026 ECVA Senior Indoor Volleyball Championships in the British Virgin Islands.
The women’s team delivered an outstanding performance, capturing Gold, while the men’s team finished 4th in the tournament.
Minister for Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport, the Hon. Owen Darrell, JP, MP, congratulated both teams on their accomplishments, stating, “I extend my sincere congratulations to our national women’s and men’s volleyball teams for representing Bermuda with such pride, determination and sportsmanship. Winning Gold is a tremendous achievement for our women’s team, and the men’s 4th-place finish is also a testament to their hard work and commitment. I commend every athlete and coach for their dedication and for flying the Bermuda flag proudly on the regional stage. Welcome home, and congratulations to you all.”
