"An important step in Bermuda’s tourism recovery,” said Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Vance Campbell today after the House of Assembly passed the Fairmont Southampton Hotel Act 2022.
Minister Campbell said, “It is a clear signal to the people of Bermuda, tourism stakeholders and investors that the Government is determined to break the cycle of this challenging tourism period. The House passed this Bill without objection, and I am grateful for that support. We are a step closer to the jobs this project will create and to the economic activity and growth that it will mean for this economy. This is the hope we promised, and we are determined to deliver for the people of Bermuda”
