Notice to all Customers
The Department of Immigration will be closed for file room/office re-organization on;
- Thursday, 30 August
- Friday, 31 August
- Thursday, 6 September
- Friday, 7 September
During the closure:
- There will be no entry/access to the department for the submission/collection of documents
- The Collections Desk and Front Counter will be closed
- A drop box will be placed just outside of the department for the submission of all applications; passport applications and cash are not to be deposited in the drop box (applications in violation will be returned)
- Emergency passport applications (only) which are submitted on August 30, 31 and September 6th and September 7th, must be submitted to the Registry General Department; located on the 1st floor of the Government Administration Building
- Emergency passport applications (only) who submit their applications on any date during the closure , will be able to collect their passports from the Registry General Department after they have been notified that the passport is ready for collection
- General (non-emergency) passport applications will not be accepted (or passports issued)
- Staff will not respond to telephone calls or email/voicemail messages until the next business day of operation
